I just finished reading these biblical meditations on the heart of Christ and it has done much good for my soul. I came to Christ in 2002, a weary young man burdened with the hard knocks of life, and I found love. I discovered that Jesus had always been there, loving me steadfastly, despite my wanderings and outrageous sins. And, more than that, Jesus has died for me, bearing all my sin and shame on himself so that I can enter God’s presence and have eternal life. This is love! This is grace! This is Christ’s gentle and lowly heart for me and you.
